Is this beard colour suitable for all beard types?
Suitable for all beard types on normal skin. NOT recommended for sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Perform a 48-hour patch test before first use. Not for women or anyone under 16.

How long does the colour last?
8–14 days with proper care. For maximum longevity, use Shesha Ayurveda Red Sandalwood Face Wash instead of regular soap — soap strips colour faster.

Can I use regular soap after applying this beard colour?
No. Regular soap significantly reduces longevity. Always wash with Shesha Ayurveda Red Sandalwood Face Wash.

Does this beard colour contain ammonia or bleaching chemicals?
No. The formula is completely free from ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, sodium perborate, and bleach. Contains p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) — total arylamine content less than 3% after dilution.

What shade is available?
Currently available in Natural Black only — designed to complement all beard types and deliver a natural look.

Can I use this on head hair, eyebrows, or eyelashes?
No. This product is formulated specifically for beard and moustache hair. Do not apply to scalp hair, eyebrows, or eyelashes.

Will this beard colour increase greys or thin my beard?
No. The formula avoids hydrogen peroxide and bleaching agents — the primary causes of increased greying and beard density loss in chemical dyes.

I'm allergic to dyes. Can I use this?
No. This product contains p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) and is not suitable for anyone with a history of dye, herbal, or skin allergies. If you've reacted to any hair or beard colour before — natural or chemical — do not use this product.

Why must I use the paste within 3 hours of mixing?
No stabilisers are added. The Ayurvedic herbs lose efficacy when exposed to open air for extended periods. Mix fresh, apply, and discard any unused paste after 3 hours.

Why does the powder look different colours across batches?
The powder ranges from light green to darkest green depending on seasonal ingredient variations. This is completely normal for a raw, natural product and does not affect quality or results.
